Product Info
The port replicator from IPC fulfills all the tasks that a port replicator can do great. It is independent of the model and manufacturer and can be connected to any free USB port. This means that you can use your notebook even when it is closed. You can find more information here .
Due to its simple and modern design, the IPC port replicator fits perfectly to every modern workplace and it combines the numerous cables in one place. It eliminates the time-consuming connection of all peripheral devices when you return to the workplace and lets you use your notebook flexibly and mobile.
When it comes to specifications, the PRIPC1 doesn't miss out either. An outstanding feature is the support of up to two 4K / 2K monitors. Alternatively, it also supports the connection of a 5K monitor. With its numerous connections, it also offers the option of connecting accessories as required. The IPC port replicator has 4 USB 3.0 connections for mouse, keyboard, printer and other equipment. Its two USB-C ports complete the extensive connectivity options. With the 100W power supply included in the scope of delivery, the notebook can, if it supports this, be supplied and charged via USB-C by the IPC port replicator. An additional power supply unit is not necessary here.
Compare the power (watts) of the power supply unit that matches your notebook with the power supply unit included with this docking station. Please note that the included power supply supports a maximum of 60W. If your notebook has a higher power consumption, you still need the power supply of your device for operation. To operate the notebook via a USB 3.0 / 2.0 connection, a power supply unit must still be connected to the notebook, as charging with this type of connection is technically not possible.

On the one hand you have to consider the compatibility of your device. If your laptop has no USB-C connection, it can cause problems with newer models. On the other hand the port replicator has to produce enough power and can not convert less watts than your Notebook needs. At last you can choose how many and what type of connections for peripherals you need.
